When I do buy milk, I buy organic, @chefgigi. But my reason is that it has such a longer expiration date vs. regular milk. My husband can't drink milk, so regular milk tends to go bad before I use it all. Now I have another reason. Thanks for sharing this important info!

Whoa Donna John I had no idea that organic Milk has a longer shelve life!!interesting. I don't drink Milk - I used to -- lots of it ! Then someone told me that humans are the only mammal that drinks another mammals milk --- 😳 which completely grossed me out I haven't touched it since. Strange but true! Lol

Yes, organic milk has a way longer shelf life. Weeks. Sometimes you buy regular milk and the expiration date is the next week. I don't buy milk anymore unless it's for a recipe, and then it's just a pint like I bought yesterday to soak deer backstrap in. (My first time cooking that, so if you hav a good recipe let me know!) Got a milk-sensitive husband and I was never a big milk drinker, so I've moved on. May try almond milk tho. @chefgigi

I'm an Almond milk girl....so many crazy stories about cow's milk. The boys in my family don't like almond milk so I buy organic for them. I'm with you @chefgigi seems weird that we are the only living creature that drinks another creature's milk! I'm vegan so I guess the whole thing wigs me out!! 😜😁
