- If you’ve had skin cancer before, it’s more likely to have again and warrants regular skin checks.
- Presence of changing moles. Look for: A for Assymetry, B for border irregularity, C for irregular pigment distribution, D for diameter of 6 mm or more and E for evolving or changing size.
- Weakened immune system.
- Exposure to radiation and chemicals.
- Fair skin.
A majority of skin cancers can be treated if detected early.
