Worried About Your Child’s Speech & Language Development? Don't Wait!

If you're concerned about your child's speech/language skills, it's important to know kids even younger than 3 can receive therapy. Birth-to-3 programs provide early intervention services. By law, your local public schools have to provide services to kids ages 3 to 21. 

If you think your child may have a speech/language delay, don’t wait! Many people may tell you to wait until your child is 3 years or older. As a speech and language pathologist, I disagree. Early intervention is the key to helping your child. Speech and language skills are critical for academic success, so act now!
