Here is your shopping list for this savory pork rice recipe: cooked pork belly (or pork roast, pork chops, etc.), cooked jasmine or white rice, sazon seasoning, rice vinegar, yuzu sauce, fresh garlic, fresh ginger (read about the health benefits of ginger), green onions (scallions), pineapple (check out the health benefits of pineapple), carrot, soy sauce or tamari (tamari is gluten-free) and sesame oil. If you want eggs on top, grab some fresh eggs, too!
Cooking Tips: If you can't find yuzu sauce, use lemon, lime or grapefruit juice instead. My grocery store sells yuzu sauce on the Asian aisle. Don't like eggs? Leave them off.
This delicious pork belly fried rice with eggs is a deliciously different breakfast or brunch, or serve it for lunch or as a one-bowl dinner.
