How to Make Baked Kale Chips: A Healthy Snack Alternative! by Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP
Do you like chips, but don’t like the fat and calories? Well, try kale chips! They’re delicious, healthy and easy to make.
You'll need:
- kale, deveined and cut into pieces (you could use baby kale)
- olive oil
- garlic salt
Here's how to make them:
- Put the kale in a bowl and add a little olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt. Lay them on a cookie sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 250-degree F oven for a couple of minutes. Turn them over and continue to bake for about 2 more minutes. (Bake them just long enough to dehydrate.)
- Cool and place in a bowl.
These chips are full of nutrients and will satisfy your need for a crunchy snack!
