No need for you or your kids to suffer a bad-bang day when you don't have the time, inclination or money to make it to the salon! Grab a pair of hair-cutting scissors, a mirror and a comb. Make sure bangs are fully dry before cutting them and pull the rest of the hair away from the face.
- Using your index and middle fingers, grab the bangs and pull them in the opposite direction from which they normally fall.
- Keeping your fingers straight, pull the hair taut.
- Cut directly across, just beneath your fingers.
Trim no more than a quarter inch at once to make sure you don't overdo it!
