I have made this many times over for about a decade. The rich tomato soup is super fast, easy and inexpensive to make. You probably have all the ingredients on hand. Here is what you need to make this comforting tomato soup stew: ground beef, an onion, a big can of tomato soup, tomato sauce, ketchup, green beans and potatoes.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 family-size can (23 ounces) tomato soup
- 1 can (14 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 bag (12 ounces) frozen green beans or 1 can (14 ounces) green beans, drained
- 6 cups potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
