Webcam Peeping Toms: How to Protect Yourself & Your Family!

Webcam "peeping," though very common and supposedly easy to accomplish, is still a subject many of us know little about. Webcam "Peeping Toms" are people, generally computer hackers, who turn on your webcam remotely without your knowledge. Hackers are able to do this without turning on the red webcam light which could possibly warn you that your camera is on.

So, protect your family, especially your children, from predators by purchasing an inexpensive webcam cover or simply placing a piece of duct tape or masking tape over your webcam lens when not in use.
