Playground Safety: What Parents Need to Do to Keep Kids Safe!

Some of the most common injuries pediatricians see during the summer months are concussions and broken bones due to falls. An area that is prone to injuries, but often overlooked by parents, is the playground. 

It’s great to get your kids outside and active, but be sure you are supervising them. It’s tempting to just let your child play and look at your phone, but that can be dangerous. Supervision is key for preventing injuries. 

Why not play with your child? It’s a great way to sneak in some exercise!
