Water Safety: Parents Need to Be Aware & Prepared When at Home or Traveling!

Swimming is a great part of spring and summer, but it can come with safety risks. Every year, there are unnecessary drowning accidents that occur in lakes and pools. Keep kids safe with these safety tips!

  • Always supervising kids around water.
  • Make sure you have childproof safety locks on your pool gates and that they’re latched.
  • If your kids spend time with friends or family, it’s a good idea to ask them about their pool safety features.
  • If vacationing near water, attach bells to your doors so you can hear if your child unexpectedly wanders outside.

Teach your kids about water safety now to avoid needless accidents.
