Yu Darvish: Keep the Faith, Chicago Will Love You! (Share Your Thoughts, Sports Fans)

Welcome to Chicago, Yu Darvish. Chicago Cubs fans are die-hards who want to win the World Series again. We had been dreaming about it for years and then it happened in 2016. Darvish signed a huge contract with the Chicago Cubs in the off season with hopes of helping us get back to the World Series.

In an interview, Cubs catcher Chris Gimenez revealed that Darvish believes Cubs fans hate him. I want to tell him that Cubs fans don’t hate him. We just want to win the World Series! We want him to do his job and preform like a leader and help get this team to the playoffs.

Again, fans don’t hate him. We just feel like the Cubs didn’t get the pitcher they signed. I, at least, was sold by Theo Epstein, Cubs president of baseball operations, that he'd be as good as Jake Arrieta, who was a badass. Once Darvish starts performing, the fans will love him.

Most of us see Jake kicking ass and wonder if we signed the wrong guy. Which is all on Theo Epstein, not on Darvish. Once he starts preforming and showing the team and Chicago Cubs fans he is a leader, the fans will love him.

I’m not going to lie it kind of sad today he only pitched one inning in south bend and took himself out. Just throw the pitches you can and see what happens. 19 pitches and. Then. He would only talk to the south bend media for 10 minutes. At least take time talk and sign autographs fans where so excited to come watch him pitch there.
