Homemade Fruit Freezer Pops Recipe: Healthy, Refreshing & Budget-friendly by Belinda Lichty Clarke

Homemade Fruit Freezer Pops Recipe: Healthy, Refreshing & Budget-friendly

Homemade freezer pops are a healthier alternative to rich desserts. And they’re easy and budget-friendly!

Packaged juice blends work, or combine a variety of juices on your own and pour into ice cube trays. Before the juice freezes, insert wooden craft sticks and you’ve got a healthy and fun snack

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 2 hours to freeze (approximately)
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

  • juice (I use 100 percent juice)

Here's how to make it:

  1. Pour the juice into ice cube trays or ice pop molds. Insert a wooden craft stick.
  2. Freeze.

Here are more ideas:

  • Use a yogurt smoothie instead of juice and you’ve got a protein-rich fro-yo pop.
  • Combine apple or mango juice with frozen strawberries or blueberries in the blender and then pour into trays.
  • Choose "no sugar added" juices or make your own with your juicer.

It’s a great way to get your kids to eat fruit, and healthier than most packaged pops. Let the kids help make them!
