Breastfeeding? Don't Forget to Wash Your Hands First! Here's Why!

Working in a newborn nursery, it’s exciting for me to help moms and babies get a healthy start to breastfeeding. One important step when breastfeeding that many new and seasoned moms forget is to wash their hands. Just as it’s important for us to wash our hands before we eat or handle food, it’s important we wash our hands when breastfeeding our babies. 

Washing hands is a great and easy way to protect your baby from viruses and other germs.
