Do you like chips, but don’t like the fat and calories? Well, try kale chips! They’re delicious, healthy and easy to make.

You'll need:

  • kale, deveined and cut into pieces (you could use baby kale)
  • olive oil
  • garlic salt

Here's how to make them:

  1. Put the kale in a bowl and add a little olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt. Lay them on a cookie sheet.
  2. Bake in a preheated 250-degree F oven for a couple of minutes. Turn them over and continue to bake for about 2 more minutes. (Bake them just long enough to dehydrate.)
  3. Cool and place in a bowl.

These chips are full of nutrients and will satisfy your need for a crunchy snack!

Mmm! I love kale chips, @mindy. If you want them a little spicy, sprinkle with a some red pepper flakes. I bake mine, too, or make them in my air fryer: mom: Chef Gordon Ramsay Inspires Busy Families to Cook Healthy! Here's His Secret!
