"The Bachelor" Arie Luyendyk, Jr. & Lauren Luyendyk Travel to Bermuda for the Ultimate Babymoon

Former star of “The Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his wife, Lauren Luyendyk (Burnham), stars of ABC's 22nd installment of “The Bachelor,” recently traveled to Bermuda in the North Atlantic Ocean to take in the Zika-free island's turquoise waters, pink sand beaches, vibrant local culture and delectable cuisine the ultimate babymoon destination.

"We have been really impressed with how clean Bermuda is and how nice everyone is," Lauren said. "The island is so pristine and well kept. We'd been doing a lot of adventuring around and the timing was really great for us before the baby came, so it has also been really relaxing."

The couple decided to "Be a Booker" with Booking.com, taking action and booking a trip instead of dreaming about what could be. Bermuda was the perfect place for a last-minute babymoon and close enough to the U.S. in case of emergency, plus maximum beach and relaxation time. Their daughter is due June 4, 2019, giving the couple their last trip before becoming parents.

The couple stayed at The Loren in a private villa, which offers an exclusive 3,555-square-foot enclave, where Arie and Lauren enjoyed island life at its finest. The two-level villa encompasses three bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and private terrace, chef's kitchen, spacious living room, powder room and a dining room with water views. It also includes a private plunge pool with a furnished pool deck and a grill area. On top of that, the Spa at The Loren offers a signature mother-to-be treatment – perfect for expecting moms.

Upon arriving in Bermuda, the pair took in a private charter with TrueBlue Bermuda. They also had a private yoga session at The Resident at The Loren's private beach. The pair dined at The Loren's The Pink Beach Club restaurant, took a tour of Crystal Caves and toured the island in a Tazzari, before returning to Arizona.

Arie began his journey headlining “The Bachelor” in January 2018. Following the season finale on “After the Final Rose,” Arie proposed to Lauren in front of a live studio audience in Los Angeles on March 6, 2018. The pair then announced their wedding date on ABC's The View in May, confirming they would wed in January 2019 in Hawaii. However, days before their co-Bachelorette party in Las Vegas in November, the duo announced they were expecting. A week before their wedding, they revealed they were having a girl. In front of around 100 guests at an old sugar mill in Maui, including "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, who officiated the wedding, the pair said "I do" on the afternoon of January 12, 2019.

What an amazing trip! I watched Arie and Lauren's story unfold on "The Bachelor," so this was fun to read. Glad to hear their story had a happy ending (as did Becca's, after her heartbreak). Babymoons are so nice for a first-time couple. The calm before the baby storm, LOL!
