Nosebleeds During Pregnancy: 6 Ways Moms-to-be Can Prevent Them!

As our bellies expand during pregnancy, so can the blood vessels in our noses. There are some ways you can prevent getting a nosebleed: 

  • Stay well hydrated. 
  • Blow your nose gently. 
  • Try to keep your mouth open when you sneeze, but cover it with the tissue. 
  • Run a humidifier during the winter months. 
  • Avoid irritants such as smoke. 
  • Do not use medicated nasal sprays.
