Getting kids to eat new foods is often a struggle, but making it fun can alleviate the stress of family meals. Why not introduce foods from around the world at dinner time?
- Tell the kids that you’re going around the world for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and plan weekly “theme nights” along these lines.
- Each week, decide on a part of the world that your kids would like to visit, and plan a menu based on that culture.
So if Saturday’s breakfast is inspired by France, have croissants, baguettes, omelets and Brie as the meal. If Friday’s dinner is Mexican, have burritos and guacamole. Different foods will open your kids’ eyes to a world of flavors.
