Ready for Winter Break, Mom & Dad? 11 Positive Activities to Keep Your Kids Busy

Keeping children entertained and active in the winter can be challenging, especially for working parents. Whether you're taking time off and staying home with your kids or have hired a babysitter, grandparent or neighbor to help pitch in, it's a good idea to plan ahead for keeping your children busy (and yourself sane) during winter break.

Here are my top ideas to keep kids entertained over winter break:

  • children's museums and aquariums
  • ice skating
  • movies
  • sporting events
  • pottery painting
  • bowling
  • yoga for kids
  • zoo or pet store
  • take a vacation
  • winter break camps
  • local holiday events

Have fun! What are your favorite things to do as a family over winter break?
