With domestic violence in the news, I wanted to speak directly to women who may be in a relationship that is damaging, emotionally or physically. According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH), domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender, and affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels. Abuse is a pattern of behavior to maintain power/control over an intimate partner. It's never too late to get out.
