5 Ways to Teach Your Child to Be a Team Player in Sports!

Help kids learn to be a team player in sports. Here are five things parents need to remind kids:

  • There is no “I” in TEAM, so don't be obsessed with personal stats.
  • It takes a whole team to win a game – every player is important.
  • Seek to understand teammates by listening, tuning into their frustrations and trying to help them succeed.
  • Take responsibility for your own mistakes. Don't blame others. Learn to accept what's best for the team, even if it's not what you want.

Go, team!
