Have a Baby? Why It's Important to Make New Mom Friends - Now!

One of the best decisions I made after having my baby was to make new mom friends. Support with a newborn is so important, and no one understands you more than someone going through the same exact thing. Research local new moms groups in your area and don't be shy! It may be difficult to force yourself out of the house with a newborn and making new friends may feel awkward (like freshman year of college), but trust me, these new friends will be your sanity and support throughout that first year.

I don't know what I'd do without my new mommy friends!

As a new mom living in a foreign country, I was terrified about not having my friends nearby. I was able to find a Facebook group of English speaking moms in my city and have built a wonderful community of mommy friends!
