Chore Charts: A Clever Way to Get Kids Excited About Chores!

Are your kids pushing back on doing chores around the house? You're not alone! It's a common problem – and a solution is a chore chart! Online you’ll find a variety of lists of child-appropriate chores and ways to track them. Print one out, laminate it and put it on your fridge. Have each child pick a dry-erase marker color to use, and let them mark off what they’ve done for the week. There are even apps that track chores.

You can pay kids for chores or reward them with TV or computer time. It will give them a sense of accomplishment, and help you around the house, too!
