Grow a Wheat Grass Centerpiece for Easter: An Easy Spring Decorating Idea & Fun Craft for Kids

Want to teach your kids about gardening and create a beautiful centerpiece in the process? Grow a container of wheat grass! This fun spring craft makes an adorable Easter centerpiece and a fun gift for friends and family.

You'll need:

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put decorative glass pebbles in the bottom of a pretty glass container for drainage.
  2. Add organic soil on top.
  3. Let your kids plant a packet of wheat grass seeds, sowing them just under the layer of soil.
  4. Add a bit of water and place the container by a sunny window.

Voila! Our seeds sprouted in just a few days and grew quickly into a patch of grass. For Easter, we'll add colorful eggs to the centerpiece. Now that's a real LIVE decoration!
