We recently renovated our kitchen and painted a wall with chalkboard paint (found in the regular paint section of our home improvement store). It's exactly what it sounds like: paint that turns your wall into a chalkboard. Besides being a fun place for kids to draw, it is also great for meal planning. 

Every Sunday, I plan and post our meals. The kids are happy to know what's coming up for dinner, and it helps me better plan my weekly shopping lists! Simplify meal planning using a theme like Taco Tuesday!
