Want to Exercise the Creative Side of Your Brain? Try This Fun Idea!

I think it's important to exercise the creative side of your brain. When my daughter was born, I started writing haikus (three-line poems that are five syllables, seven syllables, five syllables). It may take a few minutes to write a poem, but it only takes about 30 seconds to read one and elicit a smile! Here's an example called "Fast Hands": 

I am a baby/I like to touch my own poop/And try to eat it
