Back-to-school is in the air! Is there any way to make the mood less depressing for kids and less stressful for parents? Yes! With six kids in three different schools, I know how stressful it can be! Here's what we do to lighten the load!
- Every Sunday night, we have a family meeting to discuss activities, set the calendar and set up rides.
- Cut back on activities. I only let my kids commit to things I can commit to. Too much is too much!
- Let things go. Learn what matters and what doesn't, and let the rest go (even homework, sometimes)!
It'll get easier!
