Holiday Traditions: How to Set Up Rudolph & the Misfit Toys! by Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP
When our boys were infants, my husband and I started collecting Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer paraphernalia. Rudolph is a favorite memory from our childhood, and we wanted to share this with our children. Through the years, we have collected everything from stuffed toys to coffee mugs.
Every year since, it’s our family's tradition to put on our elf hats and clamber to the attic to retrieve our misfit toys. We put on Christmas music and set up the crew! Everyone puts their favorite misfit in their special place. It’s a holiday tradition because, “Maybe misfits have a place, too!”
