Each weekend, we have a family game night. While we enjoy newer games such as Apples to Apples and Blokus, what we love most is bingo. And be forewarned – we play to win! Why the scary, dog-eat-dog competitive streak? We play for coupons, of course! I create a handful of coupons, redeemable only in my house, and they go into the jackpot. The winner of each round gets to select a coupon as the prize. Popular coupons include:
- dessert on a non-dessert night
- one extra story at bedtime
- choose the movie on movie night
- pick the dinner menu
- get out of one chore free (my favorite)
