Family Bingo Night: Give Out These Prizes & Your Kids Will Love to Play! by Lisa Henthorn

Each weekend, we have a family game night. While we enjoy newer games such as Apples to Apples and Blokus, what we love most is bingo. And be forewarned – we play to win! Why the scary, dog-eat-dog competitive streak? We play for coupons, of course! I create a handful of coupons, redeemable only in my house, and they go into the jackpot. The winner of each round gets to select a coupon as the prize. Popular coupons include:

• dessert on a non-dessert night
• one extra story at bedtime
• choose the movie on movie night
• pick the dinner menu
• get out of one chore free (my favorite)
