Don't Let Rain Dampen Your Family Vacation: Have a Rainy-Day Plan!

Rainy days are bound to disrupt at least one day of family travel. Instead of bumming out, have a rain-day plan. As you scope out the attractions and events for the family trip, pay attention to sites that will be especially great on bad weather days. Don’t let the kids sense your disappointment when it downpours on the second day of your beach vacation. Look into:

  • museums
  • interesting movie theaters
  • fun shopping malls
  • other indoor attractions

Kids will feel that it was part of the plan all along – not just put in place because of the weather!
