Turn Your Kid's Sandcastle Into a Work of Art! Here's the Colorful Trick! by Elizabeth Pagel-Hogan

Want to add a little glitz to summer sandcastles? I learned this idea from my grandfather. Each summer I'd spend time at the beach with my grandparents and we loved to make sandcastles. You’ll need:
- food coloring
- non-toxic glue
- small spray bottle
- water
My granddad would mix water, food coloring and nontoxic glue and fill a small spray bottle each with a different color. On the beach, my brother and I would construct elaborate castles and he'd help us spray them with a rainbow of colors. The glue helped the sand keep its shape longer than other castles.
Our creations always drew a lot of "oohs" and "ahhs" from other families, and I cherish the memories of that time with my grandparents!
