#30Seconds Live: Shopping Made Easier With Innovative Totes Babies Car Seat Carrier by Jessica Acree
Shopping with your new baby confined to a car seat is enough to drive any parent crazy. "It's very stressful and gives you mass anxiety," explains Lindsey Fleischhauer, co-founder of Totes Babies. She knew there had to be a better way than piling groceries or Target finds around her most precious cargo.
Lindsey approached her dad hoping his manufacturing background and network would help her find a solution. That's when Totes Babies was born. "I went to Home Depot, got a curtain rod, some canvas, staple gun ... it worked!" explains Stan Valiulis, co-founder of Totes Babies. One year later, the father-daughter team excitedly shared their final design with #30Seconds Live at the Chicago Baby Show.
It's simple, fast and effective. The Totes Babies Car Seat Carrier adjusts to fit over any cart, big or small, allowing you to simply set the car seat in, strap it down and go! "It just makes life that much more simple as a parent," says Lindsey. "We need all the help we can get!"
Lindsey used the original prototype with her son during the design process and knew they were onto something unique with the interest it generated. "It goes to show, if you have an idea, never ever give up," says Lindsey.
