Everyday Experiences, Extraordinary Lessons: How to Pause & Be Present With Life

A few days ago, I decided to go for a walk on a cloudy, gray morning. As I walked, my mind raced with thoughts about my never-ending "to do" list.

I continued to walk and realized that it wasn't as cold as days before. I took a deep breath and knew that this was a moment when I needed to pause and be present with life. Pausing to notice the extraordinary lessons present in everyday life. Getting off the hamster wheel of my racing thoughts. This practice has helped me find my center time and time again.

I noticed that the snow was softening and starting to melt. I heard birds chirping. Spring was giving hints of its return. It was a reminder that seasons in life do change. The past few months have been tough for me and full of loss. I has begun to feel like this season would never end. Noticing what was right in front of me gave me a dose of inspiration right when I needed it.

Our lives are full of extraordinary lessons. Full of wisdom and insight to help us on our journey. Notice and allow your present life to speak to you. Find your everyday extraordinary.
