Chicago Toy & Game Fair: Kids & Parents, Get Your Game on November 18-19 at ChiTAG! by Kim Kusiciel
If you live anywhere close to Chicago and have kids (or are a big kid yourself), you have to head over to Navy Pier November 18 or 19 for the Chicago Toy and Game Fair. It's the place to be in the world of new toys and games. See them before they hit store shelves and meet the creators, too!
Last year, my kids and I met so many neat game creators and we even walked away with some goodies. Not only do you get to get your "big kid geek on," but you might walk away with free toys or games. Like last year, we picked up a free Pom Pom Wow set. My kids went nuts over it!
It's also worth noting that there are some fun extras for kids. There is a really cool Young Inventors Challenge, but be sure to register by October 28. Last year's winners have their game, Ship of Treasures, being sold at Target!
There is a special hour – the Super Power Sensory Hour – reserved for children with special needs between 9 and 10 a.m. I think this is brilliant and helps makes ChiTAG accessible to everyone!
Go to ChiTAG. You'll have so much fun! There are giveaways, entertainment, LIVE unboxings, demo areas, photo ops and so much more. Visit the ChiTAG website to learn and buy tickets (30Seconds tribe members can use code ChiTAGPLAY for 50% off!).
This video is longer than 30 seconds, but we think it's worth it.
