Motivation for Fitness: How to "Trick" Yourself Into the "Treat" of Exercising This Halloween! by Sonia Satra

"Trick or treat" usually means candy and sugary snacks, but it doesn't have to! In my holiday-themed Moti Minute, I’ll show you how to "trick" your mind into the "treat" of exercise. So often, our minds get in our way. We tell ourselves:

  • "I'm tired."
  • "Working out is hard."
  • "I just don't have the energy today."

But with this wickedly easy trick, you'll find yourself breaking through those excuses and stepping into your strongest, fittest self. Right now, remind yourself of what you'll gain by exercising, not what's hard about it. Try these:

  • "I'll have more energy."
  • "I'll sleep better."
  • "I'll feel stronger, sexier, more alive."

What are your reasons for exercising? What will you gain? When you focus on the positive outcomes, you'll "trick" yourself into forgetting the hard parts! Happy Halloween!

This video is longer than 30 seconds, but we think it's worth it.
