#30Seconds Live: Take a Tour of Chicago's Coding Workshop & Meet Co-Founder Katy Lynch! by Kim Kusiciel

My kids love all things "coding" related. They have participated in lessons at school using programs like Scratch.com, attended coding workshops at the local high school put on by students, participated in summits and they have joined coding clubs hosted by the PTA. However, all of that leaves them wanting more.

When I told them about Codeverse, a new interactive coding studio in Chicago, and that we were going to check it out, they were thrilled. Codeverse is amazing! It's the first of its kind – in the world! Yes, the whole world. It's a fully interactive workshop and classroom just for kids ages 6-12.

So, on Saturday, I took my kids (and husband, our cameraman!) downtown and they took a free coding class. And guess what? You get to tag along! That's right! I broadcast a #30Seconds Live livestream from the 30Second Mom Facebook page so you could take the tour with me. You also get to meet the co-founder, Katy Lynch, and to learn what Codeverse is all about. We just loved the tour, and I even captured some feedback from my three coding kids. Just watch the video to see (and make sure to get to the end, where there's a cameo by Katy's husband, Codeverse CEO Craig Ulliott, who was teaching my daughter to code, how cool is that?)!

Don't worry! We didn't forget about you. You can take your kids, too! Just visit their website to schedule a free class!
