Mindful Moments: How to Be Fully Present in the Moment – Right Now!

According to Deepak Chopra, we have 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day. Of these, 40,000 to 56,000 are negative and we’re aware of only 100 to 300 of these debilitating beliefs. About 95 percent of these thoughts are the same, day after day. We have the ability to take accountability for our own negativity and the ripple effect it creates.

The space we create to be fully present is not found within our judgments. We have all heard the familiar saying, "take it one day at a time," and it is not a coincidence that when you're feeling overwhelmed with negativity and unable to cope, that self-love is the only way forward. You can’t change what you don’t lovingly acknowledge. Energy needs to move, and the associated rigidity associated with core negative thoughts will dissipate when we let go of the beliefs associated with that pain. What remains is the opportunity to begin again, this is the field of transformation.

The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion, according to Albert Einstein. We have the power to make miracles happen, if we remain open to the unknown infinite possibilities that are available to us in the present moment.

Beautiful, @scannoe. Negativity is our worst enemy. It's so sad that some people feed off of it. I've learned to remove myself from it. Love your mindful tips.

Hello Stephanie. Enjoyed your positive thoughts on negative thoughts. We poison our own minds with negativity. Yoga and meditation help me, and just an awareness of what's going through my mind during the day.
Stephanie Cannoe
Miranda Lewis Lol ... It is a daily practice. Mindfulness is important. Glad you enjoyed my tip. I write what inspires me. A work in progress!
