Entrepreneur Families: 4 Ways to Include Kids While Building a Business by Nance Arquiett
Finding ways to include your family in your business venture can be tricky, but also necessary. Here are a few tips to allow your children to feel that they are truly part of your business.
- Set up a special space for them at the office and stock it with fun office supplies like sticky notes and colorful markers.
- Allow them to help you with deliveries, if possible. Something as simple as a putting envelopes in the mailbox at the post office can put a smile on their faces.
- Do you have a new product? Asking your child's input on naming or displaying the product can make them feel pride that you would look for their guidance.
- When possible, include the family on business trips. Maybe there are fun activities that you can do together when the business day is done.
