How to Have More Energy for a More Playful Life With Rhonda Liebig!

Whether it's to look your best in a swimsuit this summer or just have more energy to run after the kids, most of us can all use a little help to live a healthier and more energetic life. This week we were thrilled to welcome Rhonda Liebig to our #30Seconds Twitter chat. Rhonda is an AADP Certified Health Counselor, wellness coach, entrepreneur and author of "The FITT Solution: 4 Steps to a Sexy, Successful, Authentic You." Read on for Rhonda's tips!

Q: What may be the reason for my lower back feeling fatigued consistently? Stones run in my family.

  • Your energy may be stuck in the flow of your kidneys. Use my Plate Plan I guidance for dinner, to gently cooked vegetables and half fruit to unclog the kidney energy for two weeks.
  • Every morning when you wake up reach for your toes, do four full breaths and gently roll up to unclog the kidney flow.
  • Add meditation at least once daily to bring calm focused energy throughout the body.

Q: What can I do about spasms in my stomach?

  • Add herbs to your water, such as skullcap and dill.
  • Add lemongrass to a bone broth or directly into water, infused throughout the night before drinking.
  • Spasms can be related to anxiety. Add daily meditation.
  • Add hot water throughout the day to calm the stomach and detox.

Q: What can I do about fat on hips and thighs?

  • Go to bed before 11 p.m.
  • Eat more raw foods to cool down the liver and the gallbladder.
  • Add healthy fat to your diet, such as avocado, coconut cooking oil and extra virgin olive oil to dressings.
  • Add daily stretches using the yoga windmill to open up the liver and gallbladder meridian flow.

Q: What can I do about gaining weight all over my body?

  • Change from table salt to wholesome salt with iodine to open up the kidney and thyroid flow.
  • Add yoga to your workout regimen.
  • Eat more gently cooked vegetables instead of raw.
  • Drink all your water, do not skip any days.

Q: My skin is breaking out bad. What food will help clear it up?

  • Increase fiber to about 25 grams to increase the flow of energy throughout the body.
  • Get more connected with the energy in your kitchen if eating you're out more than twice a week.
  • If you get stuck in your stress about money, add deep meditation strategies to learn about your fears about survival.
