Parenting Needs to Be a Team Sport, But Stop Playing Against Each Other! Read This!

Working in child care without having my own kids has given me such an awesome perspective of parents. Did you know that:

  • All of you are winging it.
  • All of you are scared.
  • All of you have bad days.

The worst part, so many of you are keeping the struggle to yourself! A bad day is a bad day whether your kid CIOs (cries it out) or co-sleeps. Breast or bottle, a kid that won't eat is scary. And cloth or not, a blowout is the worst! Everyone has the same goal: to raise good humans. You may think that means doing ABC, and your neighbor may think that means doing XYZ, but you both do what you do because you love your kid. You all love your kids, you just do it differently and that has to be OK.

Rooting for your friend's way of parenting doesn't make your way wrong – it just makes you a good friend.

Love this Tori Ulrich ! So true! We all want the best for our kids, we all are different and what works for some might not work for others but being a support system for each other is more important.
