Crafts for Kids: Make This Recycled Rainbow Craft for St. Patrick's Day by Kim Kusiciel

Everyone loves rainbows! Here is a quick and easy craft project using a recycled toilet paper roll to try with your little ones at home.
You’ll need:
- 1 toilet paper roll
- 6 - 7 washable paints (one for each color of the rainbow)
- 4 - 6 cotton balls
- glue
Here’s how to make them:
- Cut along the length of the toilet paper roll so that it is open on one side. This becomes your rainbow.
- Paint the colors of the rainbow from side to side on the toilet paper roll. (Don't be afraid to get messy!!)
- Once the paint is dry, pull apart 4-6 cotton balls and glue them to the long edges of the toilet paper roll.
Now you have your own rainbow that will never fade! Add some gold coins if you'd like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. After you’ve completed the craft read a book about rainbows!
