Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids: How to Turn Fall Leaves Into Thanksgiving Placemats

Don't spend a lot of money on fancy placemats for your Thanksgiving feast. Give that job to the kids! They get some fresh air and you get a fun, festive table.

You'll need:

Here's how to make them:

  1. Send your kids outside to collect various sized and shaped fall leaves. (Better yet, go on a nature walk together!)
  2. Have your child glue the leaves onto a sheet of construction paper.
  3. Allow to dry. If you want to go one step further, you could even have them laminated.
