Mom: Better Listen Up for the Holidays! Here's the Reason Why! by Gail Harris

Turkey’s over, mom. On to the big holiday season – the joy, but also the stress. Let National Listening Day inspire us to set our intentions right by listening first and foremost to our own inner voice. Ask your intuition then watch things fall right into place. For example, your intuition might say, "Sit quietly and then decide." Or it might bring surprises like, "Nix the bourbon. Uncle Joe really wants a polka-dot tie." Or, "Instead of hyperventilating, this year just buy the apple pie."
Listening to our own internal GPS makes life more manageable – and more joyful. Don’t the holidays (and life itself) make this way of being worth striving for? Here are three tips for connecting inwardly:
- Make hearing your intuition a priority
- Don’t doubt what it says
- Trust and act
Enjoy!
