When we are anxious or feeling stressed, we tend to forget about our bodies and live in our heads! This can make matters worse. Here is a simple and fast way to de-stress and get back into our bodies so that we can feel grounded and centered.
- Take deep breaths
- Think of and try to feel your feet, lower legs, upper legs, hips, buttocks, lower back, abdomen, upper back, chest, hands, lower arms, upper arms, shoulders, neck, jaws, eyes, face and head
- Take another deep breath
