Connect to Nature to Feel Less Stressed Post 2016 Election! Here's How!

Are election results making you anxious? While anxiety is something everyone feels sometimes, it’s uncomfortable and distracting. One of the easiest ways to reset your thoughts is to go outside. Fresh air and a short walk can clear your head. Even five minutes of exercise is beneficial.

Observing and thinking about nature – the trees along the street or a wall of water in a pocket city park – can change your perspective. Let your thoughts linger on the beauty of the natural world to achieve a meditative effect and calm anxieties.
