Are You an Article Clipper & Magazine Hoarder? How to Relax & Release!

Are you tripping over piles of unread periodicals? Here are three reasons to recycle those piles!

  1. Limit yourself to six issues of any one periodical. So when the new issue arrives, let go of the issue you received seven months ago. Focus on quality, not quantity. And this way you won’t feel guilty looking at a growing pile of unread periodicals.
  2. Remember the biblical saying, :There’s nothing new under the sun." Every article has been written before and will be written again. Relax and let go. The same subjects will be back in no time.
  3. Your clipped articles likely have out-of-date information. Instead of referencing old articles, search the internet or library for the most up-to-date information when you need it.

I confess, I am a magazine hoarder and I rip pages out of them all the time. Have a drawer especially for it. I do go through often and clean it out. Great tip for people like me, @shaybonnie. Thanks for sharing!
