The Organizing Power of 30 Minutes (Sometimes That’s All It Takes)!

Don't think 30 minutes is long enough for much of anything? Think again!

  • Do you have a lot of projects half done, like photos half put away in albums or holiday cards half written? Pick ONE half-done project and spend just 30 minutes a day working on it. It will be done before you know it. Finishing something adds fuel to your self-esteem and a big boost of accomplishment!
  • Shorten your workday by 30 minutes. You'll get more done than if you put in your normal hours. Committing to leaving earlier gives you a deadline and forces you to eliminate the time wasters that eat up your day. It works!
  • Are you often late? Lateness can be the result of unrealistic expectations – not allowing for unforeseen happenings. Add 30 minutes to however long you think something will take. You’ll be amazed how good it feels to be on time (or even early).

This is so true!!! I sometimes give myself 30 mins to clean the family room and it never gets finished faster and I always have time for something else!
