The Organizing Power of 30 Minutes (Sometimes That’s All It Takes)! by Bonnie Hillman Shay
Don't think 30 minutes is long enough for much of anything? Think again!
- Do you have a lot of projects half done, like photos half put away in albums or holiday cards half written? Pick ONE half-done project and spend just 30 minutes a day working on it. It will be done before you know it. Finishing something adds fuel to your self-esteem and a big boost of accomplishment!
- Shorten your workday by 30 minutes. You'll get more done than if you put in your normal hours. Committing to leaving earlier gives you a deadline and forces you to eliminate the time wasters that eat up your day. It works!
- Are you often late? Lateness can be the result of unrealistic expectations – not allowing for unforeseen happenings. Add 30 minutes to however long you think something will take. You’ll be amazed how good it feels to be on time (or even early).
