Bucket Filling Fairy: A Must-Have Book to Teach Kids Kindness & How to Prevent Bullying!

The bookBucket Filling Fairy, written by 30Second Mom contributor Anne Marie Halstead, has become a nightly go-to book since it came into our house. The book gives parents a great framework to talk to their kids about kindness without being preachy.

Featuring cute characters, like Rhyming Fairy, and fun rhymes, this book explains to kids what they can to do to make other children happy (fill the bucket) and what hurts a person’s feelings (dipping the bucket).

While reading the book you can ask them whose bucket do they want to fill and what types of things can they do to make that person happy.

It's an ordinary day at Strawberry Hill Summer Camp until a magical creature arrives and surprises the campers, Trey most of all. Trey has been dipping his friends' buckets. Bucket Filling Fairy (BFF) tries to help Trey see that buckets are for filling, and making people happy can be so thrilling!
