Work Outside of the Home Moms: Here's Why You Need to Skip the Holiday Guilt Trip!

Are you a mom who works outside of the home, who has kids on winter break? Lose the guilt for not being with them all day, every day! Now is a good time to bring kids into your career world. Let them see what you do and how you do it. Kids will surprise you with their support and cooperation if you let them. My kids have always known their mom works outside of the home – and they like it!

On holiday breaks when I can’t be home with them, they have a good time. We work schedules out together. Hopefully as they grow older, they will pursue their ambitions, passions and careers because they’ve watched me in action!

You are so right, Holly Budde! And this goes along with our Stop Mom Shaming chat from last week, too. Right, Charong Chow? We're all doing the best we can - whether we work outside the home or stay at home. Thanks for the great tip, chica! Mercedes Samudio - what do you think?
