The Teal Pumpkin Project, promoted by Food Allergy Research & Education, is encouraging people to offer non-food treats for kids with allergies. To show your participation, simply place a teal pumpkin outside of your home.

One in 13 children suffers from food allergies in the U.S. The campaign will allow kids with allergies to participate safely in trick-or-treating. An added bonus? Kids with other health problems reap the benefits as well!
